On Wednesday, 22 August, we celebrated the IPF’s 10th anniversary in style at Finca Los Olivos. The event was attended by 500 Spanish, Ibicenco, local and international guests and raised over €20,000 in funds.
The celebration brought together our partners from NGOs and local businesses, government representatives, volunteers as well as family and friends. Their support over the past 10 years has made it possible for us to create and fund so many great projects.
Guests enjoyed amazing locally-sourced food, prepared by La Grande Bouffe, a selection of drinks from Absolut Elyx and local wine from Ibizkus. Paco Fernández performed his unique ‘Balearic Flamenco’ show and DJ duo and ‘sustainable ravers’ BLOND:ISH closed the night.
Money raised from the event will support the newly launched IPF Ibiza Produce project that aims to reinvigorate the landscape through food production. A table display with some of Ibiza’s best local products demonstrated the island’s potential to grow this market.
You can also support our work to preserve Ibiza and Formentera’s land and sea by making a donation today.
