Ibiza and Formentera need your support
What we do
The Ibiza Preservation Fund (IPF) aims to help preserve Ibiza and Formentera’s exceptional beauty and natural value, and to encourage sustainable initiatives. Our main focus is the conservation of Ibiza and Formentera’s countryside and marine areas. We raise money from people from all over the world who care about Ibiza’s future. Funds raised are used to support cutting-edge environmental initiatives, carried out by organizations on the island.

About us
The Fund was set up in 2008 by a small group of persons with a long-standing personal connection with Ibiza and Formentera, and concerned with the future of the islands. It is supported administratively by The Ecology Trust, a grant-making charity established by the Goldsmith family in the UK in 2003. IPF staff is minimal, with one person based in Ibiza in charge of day-to-day management and coordination work, assisted by a UK and a Spanish advisor with a long-standing expertise in environmental work.
Get involved
In recent years, public concern about environmental issues in Ibiza has grown, and some efforts are being made to change the island’s unsustainable growth patterns. Environmental organisations on the island are doing excellent work, but with very limited resources. Now is the time to support them and to capitalise on the growing public interest in green issues.
